  • The Tennessee Education Department visited my classroom March 2021. They were visiting classrooms that were selected by the principal as being “Highly Effective Teachers and Best Practices. I was extremely proud to have been selected and it was an honor having the delegates observe my classroom and teaching practices.
  • Partnered with General Motors (GM) plant in Spring Hill Tennessee to create a garden learning environment where students from kindergarten to 4th grade participated in farming techniques . We wanted to show the children the process of “Farm to Table. We built 6 raised beds and planted corn, tomatoes, okra, beans, squash, and herbs such as spearmint, lemon grass, and peppermint. These are the items the children selected. It was a successful experience over the 3 year period.
