While I could provide you with a description of my many successes as an astute educator, instead I will describe how I see myself "emerging" as an artist. After spending almost 30 years as a teacher coach for students attempting to find their voices and express them, I am now committed to do that very thing for myself. I have yet to win awards or accolades as applying for the Fellowship is my first attempt at making my work public. With that in mind, I actually am the definition of an "Emerging Artist."
