This my first RN position after graduating with my ADN. I was in their critical care internship. This ICU had all post surgical patients, respiratory patients, neurological, stroke, open heart and CV patients. I became a charge nurse after 1 year in this unit as well as taking patient assignments each shift. I precepted and oriented new hires as well.
