Summary

Began my aquatics career as a Boy Scouts of America volunteer as a assistant scoutmaster. Our scout troop 221 needed lifeguards, so I became one. During my tenure we also attained BSA lifeguard certification for all our boy scouts. We as a troop went on to support our Calumet Council volunteering to open and run our summer Cub Scout Camp Betz waterfront.

* 2007 acquired first Red Cross lifeguard certification at Hammond YMCA.

* 2009 Red Cross Water Safety Instructor

* Employed as lifeguard in Chicago School 2007-2020. Furloughed with Covid mandate March 2020.

2013-2015 Assistant Swim Team Coach Central High School.

2016-2020 Head Swim Team Coach Central High School

2016 -2020 started and developed Junior High Swim Team, at Block Junior High, E C. Indiana
