• 2014, Present, UVM Faculty Run Nurse Practitioner Clinic- HF, ER and Primary Care, Burlington, VT, Founding member of one of the first of its kind in New England. Full clinic of faculty NPs from UVM. Helped to create, start, and run clinic, and now does clinical practice. I also do “over reads” of EKGs for UVM Hospital on weekends. I work every Saturday at either the HF clinic, ER or Primary Clinic

• 2003, 2004, Champlain Valley Cardiovascular Associates, South Burlington, VT, Director and Manager of both the HF and Research Clinic. Founded and ran the State’s only Lipid Clinic. Managed 7 RNs and 5 NPs. Saw referrals from all over Vermont, NY and NH of recalcitrant hyperlipidemic patients.
• 1996, 2004, O’Brien Health Center, Winooski, VT, Nurse Practitioner and Director of Research. Managed 5 staff people in an independent practice setting specializing in HF, diabetes and lipids.
• 1995, 1997, Plattsburgh Health Center, Plattsburgh, NY, Nurse Practitioner. Immediate and primary care center taking care of all needs except OB. Independent clinic called “Wellness Clinic”.
• 1994, 1995, Medical Center of Vermont, Burlington, VT, Research Nurse Practitioner and Manager of staff in unit including 3 other NPs and 10 nurses. NIH funded GCRC.
• 1992, 1994, Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceutical Corp., Rockville, MD, CRA. Data verification of Cardiac multiple sites where investigational drugs were given to patients around the U.S. and Europe.
• 1991, 1992, Traveling Nurse Corps, Albany, NY, Redwood City, and Palo Alto, CA, and Montgomery County, MD, and San Francisco, CA, Registered Nurse. Placed in all Intensive Care Units, Oncology. Crossed many picket lines to take care of AIDS patients.
• 1990, 1991, Albany Medical College/ Medical Center, Albany, NY, Nursing Director of Clinical Research. Supervisor of research personnel managing 30+ staff of RNs and bench researchers.
• 1989, 1990, Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY, Nurse Manager of a CCU step down unit. Managing 27 RNs, LPNs and NAs in a 12 bed unit. Also responsible for clinical coordination of MDs. Pt.s were medical, surgical and included transplant pt.s
• 1988, 1991, Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY, Registered Nurse employed as staff on a cardiothoracic unit (post-open heart unit for adults and pediatric patients). Staff nurse in the Emergency Room, Oncology Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit (Medical, Surgical and Trauma Units), and Coronary Care Unit. Charge of units and nurses, nursing management of medical-surgical, trauma, cardiology patients and transplant patients.

• 10/2020, Present, Head/Lead, Integrated Disease Medical Team, GI, GU, Melanoma- Oncology USOM, Leading a multi-disciplinary team of functional experts (US IDMT Team, to deliver with high quality, and in alignment with approved global strategy. The person in this role is specifically accountable to: - Develop and execute US disease strategy to ensure innovation, productivity, and feasibility - Proactively manage risks and issues - Leading all teams to prep for launch - Leading payor teams to plan for launch and engagements post launch; negotiating NCCN changes and planning tools to support. - Ensure delivery of development activities across all compound’s related to the disease area, to cost, time and quality - Ensure effective team dynamics, performance, prioritization and communication - Act as key point of contact with US OM Leadership team and Global teams (i.e. GPT)
• 2016, 2020, Executive Director, Northeast- Oncology US CDMA organization; Oncology Field Medical Team, Tactics to support the launch strategies and LCM activities around Melanoma, Breast and Lung MSL teams. Develop strategy around MSKCC and DFCC. Responsible for patient centered strategy for ICM accounts nationwide (MD Anderson, City of Hope, UCLA, MSK, DFCC). In 2016 and most of 2017 hired and directed most of the hematology (CART launch) and solid tumor field medical team in the northeast EDM regarding SEA (cont improvement process for skills) for oncology. Managed Access team in medical – 10 CLVs to lead payor engagements with US government and commercial insurance before CART launch.
• 2017, 2020, Head and Executive Chair- Integrated Patient-Centered Medical Team (IPMT)- Oncology, At large team of volunteers for 4 years- to innovate, create and pull through patient centered strategic patient centered drug development in oncology. Many pilot projects became part of medical business- establishing structure and business process for obtaining patient centered insights and making them part of drug development inside IDMTs. E-consents in US, ClinCard, integration of launch and patient insights, etc. Secured a full-time head count and reports to me
• 2014, 2016, National Executive Field Director and Head of Patients Services and Managed Care Access; Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Patient Services, Dermatology and Rheumatology Launch of Cosentyx, Commercial Role/Brand ; De Novo team building; Hired team of 124 nurses and 15 nurse managers to deliver the first patient “facing” team to general meds; set strategy for launch. Hired and lead 25 Business Relations Managers (BRMs)/Account Specialists to assist access via pop health decision makers as well as working with the HUB managers. Develop all work instructions for nurses- more than 300 work instructions. Designed audit process for compliance and continuous improvement processes for the nurses. Developed all WPDs for nurses and BRMs. Designed all processes for face-to-face interaction with patients and nurses in HCP offices. Continuous process development and redesign to maintain quality. Eventually also hired also a vendor and established phone bank and then eventually a contract nursing organization to augment the existing team. Responsible to pull through execution of launch and then deliver support of higher forecast. High level stakeholder management of compliance, legal team, sales Brand and Sales. Partner with Brand to deliver top level patient programming with materials included. We exceeded our goal and launched at 120% over goal.

Managed, coached, and mentored a team of 12 then 10 after hiring 12 people. Advocacy and performance management of several direct reports. Led region in key account management. Successful design of region’s appropriate interface with commercial. On-boarded multiple mangers to prepare for launch.

Hired 15 people and was lead on CEL role development and integration. Led region in key account management. Successful design of region’s appropriate interface with commercial. On-boarded one manger. Launched Gilenya.
• 2004, 2010, Regional Scientific Manager/Associate Director/ Director, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Northeast Region, CV/Metabolic, Bone, Fostered relationships with KOLs for the purpose of exchanging scientific data and conducting research in VT, NH, ME, CT, Western MA, Upstate NY. Was promoted in 18 months from a Regional Scientific Managers’ position to Associate Director Tier to full Director.
