Successful implementation
of more secure baselines across the enterprise. As the business area (Aeronautics)
point of contact, I addressed all business drivers that led to more secure
protocols and practices throughout the enterprise, as well as centralize the
security tool management and governance processes. Some of the areas that
were addressed: internet access, email, legacy applications and systems and
other areas of concern that can impact the business and its customers.
Identified
various business critical systems and implemented log monitoring to provide
quick detection of suspicious activity which may indicate a possible cyber
attack. Objective was to integrate additional critical systems as identified
by the enterprise and introduce them into the Critical System Monitoring
(CSM) program.
Implementation
of “Admin Rights Removal” effort on all primary user NT/PC accounts
throughout Aeronautics.
Management
and support of UNIX Unclassified Accounts for primary sites. Includes
updating DRA (Directory Resource Management)-NetIQ and the ADUC (Active
Directory Users and Computers) as needed.
SOX
Process/Control Owner for CIRT - main point of contact for identified systems
that fall under Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002. Goal is to ensure that those
systems pass both internal and external audits.
