• Maintained Medical carrier's adherence to the Firm's Third Party Management IT standards which includes annual security reviews and negotiations with the vendors to remediate any identified findings
• Review and track high-cost claimants (>$250K in annual medical expenses) with healthcare vendor's clinical teams assuring appropriate cost containment measures are utilized and programs are delivered as promised
• Consultation with senior management including: Communications, Employee Relations, Wellness, HR Business Partners regarding strategy, escalations, DEI initiatives, and legislation

Managed vendor relationships, developed strategy and plan design and achieved cost savings

• Evaluated and selected vendors based on proposal responses implementing design changes on an annual basis
• Negotiated contract renewals for multiple plans every 3 years via RFPs in conjunction with Firm's Sourcing, Legal, and IT teams resulting in savings (e.g., $100M savings for PBM for a 3 year deal)
• Outsourced the Short term disability (STD) plan from an insourced model to an outsourced model to improve employee experience
• Led self-service telephonic project with JPMC call centers and STD vendor to reduce late reporting and overpayments to employees
• Managed Medicare recovery vendor to achieve > $500k in savings
• Evaluated and integrated benefit plans for multiple mergers/acquisitions including, Bear Stearns, and Washington Mutual
