Deborah Vanorden

I have worked as hospitalist since 2001. Admitting, following and discharging patients. I have cared for patients in every adult unit, including ICU, CCU, medical surgical units, psychiatry, emergency room,and obstetrics.

Initially assessing, diagnosing, and developing a plan of care for each patient.

Prior to my work as a hospitalist I was a nurse in the coronary care unit for 10 years caring for patients with myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, heart failure and other critical illnesses. I worked in the cardiac catheterization lab for 3 years. I assisted with procedures including catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker and ICD implants.

I was case manager for cardiology for 3 years.

I have worked for ambulance service as the RN during critical care transports for patient's from one hospital to another .
