• Active Volunteer, 2017, Present, I-58 Mission - Senoia, GA, As a volunteer I have assisted in stocking the food pantry. I organized food drives at local businesses to benefit the mission. I managed the set up of a store-like shopping experience for families in need of non-essential items weekly. I have had the pleasure of working directly with providing the needs of local homeless individuals and families.
• Staffing Director and Executive Director of Boy Scouts of America Day Camp, 2001, 2004, Boy Scouts of America – Coweta County, During my many years of volunteer work with the BSA (Boy Scouts of America), I have had the opportunity to hold many positions. I have been both an assistant cub master and a cub master. I also held a Coweta District Day Camp Staffing Director position, as well as the Coweta District Day Camp Director. In these positions I maintained working schedules for over 250 volunteers which included delegating responsibilities and jobs to various volunteers. Many of my responsibilities included managing donations, budgets and funding for various programs. My job involved overseeing 400 cub scouts and over 15 programs on a daily basis. In my position with the BSA I was proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Parent Volunteer, 2001, 2016, Various Schools (All four of my children’s schools and extracurricular), I assisted with Scholastic book fairs, chaperone various school functions, yearbook, practices and games. I was also responsible for organizing and executing fund raising for both Marine JROTC programs and Football programs. I also participated in all PTO functions and programs for elementary, middle and high school for all four of my children.
