Evident in my uniquely qualified background is my journey back to health from a neck injury sustained as an RN in 2009, subsequent surgery and use of cannabis to decrease and eliminate the use of controlled medication. I have regained my health through the use of medical cannabis and am excited for the opportunity to utilize my skill set and experience to assist patients in doing the same. I have acquired a proven track record of enhancing the work environment by being a supportive team member and achieving excellent patient outcomes in both the hospital and home care settings through providing compassionate care and effective planning as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry, Cardiac Critical Care, Home Health and live in Home Health RN. I am skilled in advanced clinical judgment, organization and documentation while implementing evidence-based practices to promote health, wellness and recovery. Commitment to delivering high-quality care to diverse populations is at the forefront of my nursing career initiatives. My experience in acute care hospital units and skilled home care for complex chronic illnesses has honed my skills on how to successfully navigate several task lists concurrently. The ability to quickly adjust to new information and scenarios and work in partnerships with a wide variety of health care professionals and patient populations proves to be a valuable asset throughout my life. Responding to varied acuity and prioritization simultaneously demonstrates my capacity and flexibility in high stress environments and easily transitions into relaying critical information in timely manner. Alternative medicine options, such as medial use of cannabis, are essential for the public to have more direct control over their health in accordance with their individual requirements and physician recommendations. Education is crucial and will advance a radically different pathway for prevention, treatment and cure of most major illnesses and diseases as public misconceptions decrease. Our health choices are unique to us and the choices for treatment should be individual, complimentary and private. My skills are directly transferrable as electrical and molecular science rules are universal when interacting with human anatomy and physiology in regards to chemical and natural reaction due to medicines and treatments. These qualities establish my competence in prioritizing health care needs for clients to maximize health and safety through patient assessment, education and recommendations, to follow up for efficacy of treatment type.
