Administer different therapies and medications in line with physician orders and treatment plan. Collaborate with physicians to quickly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing conditions.

Provide nursing care pre-operative and post-operative to adult patient's undergoing orthopedic same day surgery. Providing pre-surgery and post-surgery education to patient's and guiding them about care to be taken during treatment along with pain management techniques. Skilled in IV insertion and administration of IV and IM medications. Able to maintain calm under stress with strong endurance and excellent critical thinking skills. Expertise in telemetry care and monitoring vital signs. Obtaining patients consent before performing any test/procedure.

Responsible for managing the medical needs for adolescent teenage boys with behaviors disturbance in an orphanage setting. Ensure each child's medical,dental,psychological, and psychiatric needs are met adequately and promptly. Staff training in first aid, infection control, diabetic management and medication administration. Perform routine screening on all children including height, weight and vital signs. Monitoring for adverse effects related to use of psychotropic medication. Maintain compliance with mandated court ordered requirements for each child and state regulations. Serve as a strong advocate for each child while maintaining direct communication with DCP&P, legal guardians and other members of the ancillary team.

Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing, implementing and evaluating ways to achieve patient goals and minimize re-hospitalizations. Create an environment that is respectful, team oriented and responsive to the concerns of staff, patients and families. Ensure discharge planning process is in place and provides consultations as needed. Investigate patient/family complaints and take appropriate action to bring to resolution. Assess the work performance for staff whose performance does not meet expectations and when necessary initiate disciplinary action.
