• Supported the migration of 12 on-premises applications from the data center to AWS and Azure cloud environments, improving scalability and availability.

The Case Management Solutions Integrations (CMSi) project modernized the legacy CWINRS system for VA VR&E, integrating 12+ VA systems including VAOnce, WEAMS, MPI, and e-VA (SARA). The platform provides counselors with a 360-degree view of veterans’ cases, automating workflows, streamlining administrative tasks, and enabling more client-focused engagement. As part of the GCIO initiative, I contributed to the development, integration, and deployment of multiple system components in AWS, ensuring seamless interoperability across VA applications.

• Managed AWS CloudWatch dashboards to monitor daily integration events, and address system issues.
• Developed, refactored, and tested Java code to support new integrated features, enhancing system reliability.
• Executed 193 service, endpoint, and database tests using SOAP UI to validate functionality across integrations.
• Created CloudFormation stacks to provision Lambdas, Secrets Manager, and SNS topics, supporting rollback plans, and backup for five integrations.
