I am a 39 years old mother and wife from Georgia. I grown the love for healthcare when my grandfather started receiving hospice. I first received my Certified Nursing Assistant certification in high school in 2003. I started working my first job as CNA in 2003 at Greenville Health and Rehab in Greenville, Ga. Many would say I am a leader, team player, accountable, dependable, flexible, reliable, and great coworker. I love working in the healthcare field.

I start my morning at 7:40 am by opening up the unit, greeting my employer, unlocking the doors, and starting up the phone lines for incoming calls. I then up load my census report, and that's just to tell the team who is working, how many patients, and how many admissions we can take in for the day. I answer all calls and transfer them over to the correct teams or person. I am the scheduler, so I work on that throughout my day. I help transfer patients into the unit set up transportation for them to go home. Upload any and all information into their charts. Make door tags and arm bands. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant. I will work on the floor as needed. Patient and family care always come first. I have also worked in the Environmental Service department. I am very flexible and a team player.
