Front Desk Duties:

• Greet patients and answer phone calls.
• Registered new patients and existing patients by checking them in and placing them on the schedule.

Back Desk/Medical Assistant Duties:

• Quickly pulled patients back and performed all triage duties prior to the patient being roomed to see a medical professional.
• Performed the necessary vitals, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, respirations, and temperature. Performed all rapid tests based on protocol (rapid flu, rapid COVID, rapid strep, rapid H. pylori, rapid RSV, rapid UA, rapid HCG, etc.).
• Documented the patient's chief complaint, vitals, allergies, medications, past medical history, smoking/drinking history, ordered labs, and documented in-house lab tests into the patient's chart in the EMR.

• Performed blood draws, ECGs, ear irrigations, injections, and nebulizer treatments as needed.

Radiology Technologist Duties:

• Greeted patients with warm smile and promoted individual comfort throughout procedures and scans while being as discrete as possible.
• Performed diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures, following physician orders.
• Provided patient education on imaging procedures, addressing concerns and questions.
• Ensured compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Performed radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing quality images for timely interpretation.
• Selected proper technique for ordered exam to prevent patient from receiving high levels of absorbed radiation.

• Complete all radiologic exams in a timely manner, send images to PACS, ensure the cost for the exam is notated on the billing sheet, burn images to disc if requested by the patient, ensure all open MRI extremity exams are completed in a timely manner, send images to PACS, and ensure all required paperwork is completed before and after the exam.
• Also, I assisted orthopedic doctors with injections, casting, and suture removal.
• Further, I answered phones, scheduled patient appointments, and ensured that patients had all necessary prescriptions and paperwork from their visit.
