Delvin Mason

Randomly selected students are selected into Peer Led Team Learning (PLTL). With PLTL, students that are taking a specific course will be guided by another student that has prior knowledge to the course that is being reviewed.

• Created lesson plans and chose supporting materials to promote positive learning experiences.
• Utilized positive reinforcement techniques to encourage and motivate students.
• Evaluated students on monthly basis and adjusted lessons accordingly to incorporate improvements.
• Created activities for students to secure their position in learning.

As a Team member at Whataburger, I was made sure to look after the fry station, grill and the board in which I made sure orders were secured and deliver as fast and efficient as possible.

• Developed my listening skills from everyone in the industry, along with being open to ideas about how I could be able to benefit the company
• Played a role, bringing everyone together, eventually creating a safe space for those that were also employed there.
• Helped spread kindness to the customers, no matter the circumstance.
