Accomplishments

  • 1998-2002 Member of FWPD East Division Zero Tolerance Unit
  • 2002- I was selected as an original member of the FWPD Intel Unit. That unit would later be split into Criminal Intel later becoming OST, Homeland Security, and the Electronic Surveillance Unit.
  • 2002- Selected to be a full time Task Force Officer with the Bureau of Alcohol,Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
  • 2003-2004 - Led an undercover investigation which led to the federal indictment and convictions of 15 Blood Gang members for drug trafficking.
  • 2004-2005 - Conducted an undercover investigation which resulted in the federal prosecution of 25, Four Trey Crip Gang members for drug trafficking and firearms.
  • 2008-2009 - Case agent on an investigation into Firearms Smuggling by members of the Mexican DTO known as La Familia Michoacana. This investigation became an OCDETF with DEA. This case resulted in the federal prosecution of 13 members of LFM for firearms and narcotics trafficking
  • 2010 - Left the ATF position to help establish the newly formed FWPD Criminal Intel Unit.
  • 2012- Returned to a full time ATF position at the request of ATF leadership to perfect cases on armed gang members and armed narcotics traffickers. Successfully prosecuted numerous simple single and multiple defendant federal cases during this time.
  • 2015- Returned to FWPD full time to establish SOP for using NIBIN to identify shooting suspects and set up a FWPD Gun Crime Unit at the request the US Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. This work resulted in the ID and capture of a serial Robber and Capital Murder Suspect. The unit would later become the FWPD Gun Violence Unit.
  • 2015 to 2023- Identified and investigated several serial Robbery suspects, Homicide actors, and child Sex Offenders as a member of FWPD Criminal Intel Unit. This included Multiple Pharmacy Robbery crews, two infamous serial killers, to include a subject that committed in excess of 30 business robberies across the Metro-Plex, and the Cantina Bandits in 2018 who were responsible for a months long spree of violent robberies in Ft Worth.
  • 2023- As a result of work on multiple murder investigations I identified the source of several of the firearms used in the offenses to include the source of "Glock Switches" and AR auto sears. This led to an undercover investigation that prosecuted multiple gang members federally for firearms and narcotics related offenses including the largest seizure and producer of Machine Gun Conversion Devices in ATF history.
  • Present - As a member of the FWPD Operations and Surveillance Team I continue to work field investigations for the Homicide, Robbery, and Crimes Against Children Units, to identify and arrest their suspects, as well as assist and coordinate with outside state, local, and federal agencies to prosecute cases.
