- Perform repairs, replacement, fabrication, modification of control cables, junction boxes, switches, inverters, and/or isolates and corrects all discrepancies or malfunctions.
- Utilize a variety of complex and special tools and equipment to include wire and pin crimping and stripping tools, heat guns, pin removal and insertion tools for connectors, megaohm meters, multi-meters, and multiple toolbox tooling to route, clamp, install tie down, and properly install harnesses and wiring to standards. Also properly inventory all tools issued before and after the workday.
- Worked on all areas of the airframe from nose to tail installing a variety of complex wiring harnesses for different systems that are critical and involved in helicopter flight and function.
- Use schematics, engineer drawings, technical manuals, general electrical wiring installation practices and procedures, and CCAD standards to install route and terminate harnesses and wiring for proper fit form and function to the UH-60V helicopter.
