
57 year old Board Certified anesthesiologist, born and raised in the New York Metropolitan area. Has over 25 years experience working in both the hospital and office settings. Is currently an independent contractor in an outpatient GI Endoscopy Center in Nassau County. Looking is to add 1-2 days per week to current part-time position at a facility close to Westbury, NY home.
Is comfortable providing General Anesthesia, IV sedation and performing epidural and spinal blocks on adult patients undergoing all types of surgery. Open to working weekends, but no Call.

Currently works 2 (consecutive) days per week providing IV sedation with vital sign monitoring to outpatients undergoing upper endoscopies +/- colonoscopies.
Start IVs and provide intravenous sedation with vital sign monitoring to outpatients undergoing upper endoscopies +/- colonoscopies. A typical day involved about 10-12 cases between 8am and 2pm.

Worked F/T providing general and regional anesthesia for adult patients undergoing various types of operations including: major vascular (AAA repair, CEAs), orthopedics, neurosurgery (craniotomies, spinal fusions) and general surgery cases. When the anesthesiologist covering OB needed assistance, was frequently sent to Labor & Delivery to assist in providing epidurals to parturients.
