Accomplishments

An experience where I felt that I made a positive difference in the community that challenged the typical narratives around policing.

I had pulled a car over and spoke with the driver/violator. I advised the violator of the traffic infraction and they understood what they had done and acknowledged why there was a need for the traffic stop. The violator later emailed the department and states that me( the officer) was polite and courteous with them and they wanted to thank the department for how kind the officer was with them. I believe this directly correlates with our departments core values of respect, accountability, integrity, service, and excellence.
