I work in an Assisted living facility. My duties include: passing medications, treatments, blood sugars, putting in orders, drawing labs, putting medications away when the totes come in, assisting residents with ADL's and all other needs, restocking the med room, assisting the aides when needed.

• Facitate communication between patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

• I worked in an apartment complex with nursing services in the building. My duties were: Passing medications, charting, obtaining urine specimens, vital signs, blood sugars, assisting residents with ADL's and other needs, at bedtime did rounds and checked on the residents.

• I started out as a med passer with Riverside hospital then continued on when St Anne's opened. I worked on the Progressive unit and ended up doing ER triage. My duties were : taking admissions and I worked with an RN on the floor, did assessments, gave medications, obtained vitals, urine specimens, blood sugars, and when in ER I triaged patients, put information in the computer, obtained their medical history, and reported to the RNs in the ER department.
