Responsible for Reop in the Preparation Department. After the production associate cleans and inspects the glass if there is any defects they marked and sent to reop. Uses 7x magnification eye loop to identify defects and ensure they are within standard accuracy according to blueprints and defects standard works. Will repair imperfections and verify quality of the windshield meets or exceeds PPG and the customer standards. Runs CMS cnc speed 24 3 Axis edger. Enters program for each windshield to be produced. Puts correct edging wheels and measurements for them to ensure correct alignment for each windshield to be edged for handling and to proceed to the next phase of production. Ensures correct size, shape, bevel and seam on each windshield according to blueprints and standard works and customer specifications. Runs CMS cnc vertical glass cutter. Loads cases of glass into the correct bay and verifys and thickness for each windshield to be cut. Programs glass type and ensures correct calibration of robot to ensure pick up and cut of each windshield according to customer specifications, blue prints and standard works. Oversees glass is sent to CMS cnc 3 axis profiler edger ensures the handling seam is placed according to blue print standards works and customer specifications.

Ensures correct thickness is entered on the CMS vertical washer to clean the glass correctly and pass onto the inspection process.

Operates production machinery to ensure optimal output and quality standards. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and promotes a culture of workplace safety safety.

Checked prescriptions to ensure they were correct and thickness was correct to Ansi standards. Ran a cnc edger that would grind the bass and cross curve for the correct prescription. Ran an cnc edger that would cut the lens into the correct shape for each frame. Put lens into coater to add a scratch coat to each lens. Would put uv coating and or tint as specified by each order. Would check uv percentage by placing in ultraviolet reader. Assembled glass and checked to ensure prescription and all measurements are correct to standards and thickness to ansi standards. Clean and dispense glasses to customer.
