  • My current boss is a Master Electrician who also owns a property management company. I wear many hats on any given day being that I work for both Kieley Electric and Veseley Properties out of my office. For Kieley Electric, I answer phones for customers, schedule work to be done, price up estimates, order parts, price up labor and parts, create invoices, create statements, price up and create bids, type out the formal bid proposals, correspond via email and by phone with large companies about their invoices and statements, process payments, reconcile the bank account with our Quickbooks account, use Excel to keep track of large job bids that are being worked on as well as to keep a spreadsheet of what the original bid amount was and payments made so far, and I do payroll for the four Journeyman Electricians and three Apprentice electricians we have. For Veseley Properties, I process rental applications, type up leases and keep current signed leases in Excel under each address, process rent payments, send out late notices, handle calls from tenants needing maintenance and coordinate the contractor needed, keep the contractor on task while maintaining a good relationship, process all contractor bills and getting them paid early or on time and reconcile the bank account with our Quickbooks account.
