As a Program Coordinator with the Sponsored Events team, I had responsibility and event ownership for multiple client events, including summits, councils, Regional User Groups (RUGs) and global client events.
I held responsibility for coordination and execution for my events in regards to registration, event location and logistics, agenda, attendees, networking activities, printed and online collateral, uCern management, gifts, etc., with the support and collaboration with the event stakeholders.
I played a major role in the strategy and development of new councils within Cerner.
I assisted in the development and execution of charters for these new councils, outlining the expected outcomes, member participation and responsibility, length of membership term, etc.
The councils have proven to be very successful and have set a foundation for best practice of current and future councils.
I was the main liaison for Cerner’s RUGs, and assisted with the conferences onsite and provided backend support as needed in 2015 and 2016.
I provided extensive training and support with the Cerner Registration tool, which our RUGs had access to utilize.
This included assistance with credit card payments, refunds and processing as needed.
In 2016, Cerner’s strategy and support of the RUGs changed significantly, and I played a key role in ensuring all documentation, communications and providing a seamless transition occurred across all venues (Cerner and client organizations).
Lastly, I had the opportunity to assist with Cerner global events in 2015 and 2016, expanding my knowledge of Cerner global services and solutions and assisting with various areas of the event including: Cerner solution gallery staffing, vendor sponsorship, collateral needs, website and registration creation and maintenance, etc.
