I’ve been a server all my working life. I have only had three jobs. I’m very loyal. I feel I’m very good server.
I am an all around restaurant employee. I worked mainly as a server but I also would bartend and host. The last three years at Tidewater I was a relief supervisor as well. I had many guests that would come in and request me. I love building a relationship with my guests. I also know that it it’s important not to be just an order taker but to be a salesman. I know how important it is to upsell and to get the check average as high as possible
Here at Fifth Quarter was mainly a server but I did help out being a supervisor and a hostess on occasions when needed. Also as a server we would also assist the salad bar attendant when needed. Here also I loved creating a relationship with the guest and would help them anyway I could.
This was my very first job. Just right out of school wasn’t sure sure if I was going to make and could do this but I I’m headstrong and was determined to do it. Worried many years serving and then was moved up to relief supervisor. Did that for a few years I went back down to serving because I had a baby and did not want to work nights and do closings anymore.
Working in the restaurant industry all my like has taught me a lot of things It’s has taught me a great work ethic and how important it is to be punctual and to be ready to work when it is my shift People depend on that It has taught me how to multitask extremely well I know how to handle money and count back change Most important I learn how to take care the needs of my guest and to listen to them and know exactly what they want and need
