My duties include helping the floor by keeping everything neat and available for customers. Helping customers find the items and if not available showing them how to order online and pick up for free at store. When is needed I help on POS when the lines get too long. Offering credit and rewards program to customers who don't have any. Also i help out on picking and packing orders for in store pickup.
I would mostly worked overnight picking and packing online orders. Having them ready for shipment and having back room clean and tidy for morning shift. When days would be slow we would go on floor and stock items and having it ready for opening shift. On truck days would go early in the morning and unpack merchandise and have it ready for floor. When needed would help on POS taking credit card payments and offering credit applications to new customers.
Started as a general laborer building solar panels. After i finished my task was moved to logistics. I was in charge of a crew and made sure to direct the trucks with building materials to the designated drop off location. Making sure the materials were as listed on work order. By end of day would turn all paperwork signed and dated to my supervisors. Help clean up any trash on site.
