Summary

For the past 15 years, I was a production Manager for the F-16 System Program Office, managing many major modification programs. For the previous seven years, I was a Logistics and Supply Manager in several positions. Previous to joining the Civilian Workforce, I spent 24 years as a Munitions Maintenance Technician/Manager (AMMO) Troop serving in nearly all positions over most of the world.

21 JUL 2005 – 30 DEC 2023, F-16 System Program Office (SPO) Production Manager.

1. I managed many of the Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) Kits to support up to 84 various F-16 upgrade programs.

2. I worked closely with the IPT, Program Managers (PM’s), Equipment Specialist (ES), Engineers (EN), plus, the Storage Warehouses/Customer Service/ Shipping and the COSIS to verify Kits on hand and delivery status as the Logistics and Supply Manager.

3. We worked with the venders to confirm Kit delivery schedules and ACC, ANG and AFR to confirm fielding schedules

4. I managed the receipt, storage, release of backorders and shipments to the many customers, plus the tracking of the releases and shipments to expedite and verify the on time deliveries and installs.

5. Besides the Test SILs in the software development building (1515 where I worked for over two years), I supported the Kit deliveries to 26 active Air Force(AF), Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve (AFR) locations. Also, FMS countries and the Navy as may be needed.

A. I worked closely with the Wing Avionics Managers (WAM) at each location to verify delivery of the Kits to them, install schedule, and the disposition of the removed material as required.

B. I supported six Depots, at Hill, AMARG in Tucson, Lockheed Martin’s Greenville Depot in South Carolina, plus Korean Airlines Depot (KAL) in South Korea, SABENA Depot in Belgium and the new AAR Depot in Poland.

C. I worked with the ports at Travis, McGuire and Charleston to insure on-time deliveries.

6. I also supported numerous MICAP requirements with Kits to unit’s deployed in-order to insure continue mission accomplishment.

7. Several of the major programs I managed the Kits for:

A. The F-16 Falcon Up structural upgrade, for the AF and later for the 11 Navy F-16 BLK-15 Aggressors out of Fallon.

B. The Advance Color Multi-Function Display (ACMFD) for the F-16 BLK-25/30’s.

C. The EGI LN-260 Navigation Upgrade for the BLK 40/50’s.

D. The DIGAR/GEM 7 Program for the BLK-30’s, to resist jamming of navigation.

E. PULL-UP/PULL-UP For the BLK-25/30’s, then the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS) in the BLK-40/50’s to help avoid a ground collision when the pilot may pass out due to over G. Both have been credited with several life and aircraft saves.

F. The F-16 Service Life Extension Program for 450 BLK-40/50 F-16’s. One of the AF largest and highest priority programs in-order to extend the Service Life of the jet to 13,000+ Hours. I released the 21 Ship Set of Kits to the Hill Depot, building 225. I shipped the Kits to KAL in South Korea, SABENA in Belgium and the new AAR Depot in Poland.

G. The Active Electronic Scanned Array (AESA) Radar for the Fleet. This is to upgrade the fleet radar in-order to greatly enhance capability and reliability.

8. I have also managed many smaller programs though they are all just important:

A. OBOGS for the BLK-50’s, the JHMCS Wafer Saver MOD, ADTU/ADTC MOD, MMC7000 MOD, HOTAS, Brake Connector, etc.

B. I also manage the remaining Falcon Up and Falcon Star Kits to support requirements as they may arise and turn-in excess.

9. We were a team of five Mod Managers, then everyone retired and I was alone for eight months.

A. I did get two volunteers that had no Supply experience that I had to train on all of the systems and processes.

B. I split up the active programs evenly and continued to oversee their receipt and release of the Kits insuring all requirements were met.

10. Among my many duties and extra efforts, I volunteered to perform as the Assistant Facility Manager, submitting required workorders and performing the COVID-19 twice daily wipe downs. I also volunteered as Building 1212’s and the SPO’s CPR/AED Monitor. I conducted Facility inspections and annual training throughout the SPO’s seven locations.

11. I have held two Government Purchase Cards, one to purchase material and one to purchase supplies.

12. I have been rewarded for outstanding performance for every reporting period.

13. I was previously a Home Office Retail Item Manager (RIM), an AMMO RIM, Logistics and Supply for building 238, (B-2, Composites, Paint Shop and Radom Shop, etc.), and I started in the In-Direct MIC, then the Direct MIC for Material for building 843, Generators, for 22 years total experience in Logistics and Supply on the civilian side.

14. I previously spent 24 years in the US Air Force as a Munitions Maintenance Technician/Manager (AMMO), performing in all positions from crew member, QA, Shop Chief and at Branch Level, over much of the world.

15. Since I retired on 30 December 2022, my Secret Security Clearance is good until the end of 30 DEC 23. I just had a re-avail, in DEC 2022, and the 10 year would be due in 2026.

16. I am looking for a position where I can best apply my skills and experience in Logistics, Supply and Program Management for appropriate compensation, as an F-16 Program Facilitator for example.

  • I have received a bonus award for every civilian appraisal period for 22 years. I have received numerous awards throughout my 24 year USAF career. I am proud of what I have accomplished my entire career.
