• -A surgical Hospital specializing on Spines, Ortho, Hysterectomy, Hip and Knee Replacements, ENT and Plastic Surgery . Built and Started the Hospital from ground up. Was able to set up Materials Management department according to JACHO, CHIQ and State guidelines. Set up Par locations, par levels. Assigned GL Codes, Expense Departmental cost centers, Evaluated supply usage and switched to cheaper alternatives, standardized supplies and reduce supply costs thus saving the Hospital money. Have an established working relationships with major vendors / reps for better pricing, Discounts and LOCs.
• HIGHLIGHTS- was able to save almost $1million dollars on Medical supplies by re evaluating and realigning GPO pricing discounts on a higher tier, secondly by renegotiating implants and Biologics thru better programs and initiatives and in partnership with major vendors.
• Oversaw inventory management processes, ensuring timely availability of medical supplies.
• Developed and implemented cost-saving strategies for materials procurement.
• Collaborated with clinical teams to optimize supply chain operations and improve service delivery.
