• I have been at Hiro 88 for almost 16 years. I started as a sushi chef and my duties included prep work, sushi roll making and fish processing. I eventually became head chef and was in charge of a staff of 4 along with ordering of Japanese products.
• I have been General Manager of Hiro 88 West Maple now for 10 years. My responsibilities included managing the entire business, food ordering for my location along with the 4 other locations, liquor ordering and the general day to day. I also do interviewing and hiring along with managing 40 front of house staff and 15 back of house staff along with their scheduling. I often work 80 hr weeks making sure the back of house food standards and quality are upheld and customers are well taken care of and happy.

I spent 3 years at Performance Toyota as a Technician. I was able to achieve Expert Certified Technician through Toyota. Some of my duties included...

• Performed maintenance inspections, tune-ups, oil changes and other key services.
• Performed troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to locate source of malfunctions.
• Completed repairs and maintenance to major vehicle models to meet safety specifications.
• Diagnosed mechanical problems using specialized computer software and diagnostic tools.
• Inspected vehicles for damage and recorded findings to facilitate repairs.
