Gregg Kitaeff - Startup Account Sales Manager - AWS
I was first introduced to Dennis as a result of an acquisition. Integrating into a new company under these kinds of circumstances is always a challenge, for both sides. But Dennis, quite easily, phased himself and his team into the new structure. Dennis' technical expertise, across multiple platforms and technologies is among the best that I have encountered. What really sets Dennis apart though, is his ability to recognize the problems that the business is trying to solve (with technology), and to communicate value in a clear and succinct way. Furthermore, Dennis has C-Level/Boardroom presence, and offers a calming voice of reason and clarity whether pitching a new client, or working through a pressure-filled client issue. I would welcome and look forward to working with Dennis again.

Peter Goldstein - Founder and CTO of Valimail
I worked with Dennis on a recent consulting project. We had been brought in separately to address issues with a stalled Ruby on Rails project that had languished for several months. Dennis and DriveDev had been brought in to fix the ops side of the house, while I was brought in a little later to address issues on the development side and get the new site ready for its initial release.
Dennis' dedication and technical skill were key to the successful rollout. He drove the deployment of an entirely new staging and production infrastructure, moving systems from a private cloud to an AWS OpsWorks managed system. Dennis worked with developers to define architecture components, identify potential single points of failure, and guarantee robustness and scalability throughout the system. He also worked with the DriveDev team to identify key services (monitoring, NOC, etc.) and ensure that they were in place for launch.
Along with his extensive knowledge of the strengths and limitations of AWS, Dennis brought a level of dedication to the project that was impressive. Dennis jumped into technologies with which he hadn't had a lot of experience, like the Rails asset pipeline, and successfully mastered them. He drove task after task to completion, working tirelessly to make sure we were ready for deployment.
Dennis was also a pleasure to work with - he has a sunny disposition that never flags, no matter the circumstance. He never let ego get in the way of his job, actively seeking out feedback on how he could do better and taking it with a smile when it was given. He didn't hesitate to call in domain experts when they could solve a problem more quickly, and he always took responsibility to ensuring the issue came to a successful resolution.

Patrick Pharris - President and CEO of Pharris Media, Inc.
I have worked with Denny and his entire team for a number of years on a wide range of web design, web programming, SEO, SEM, and IT related endeavors for my company and my clients. Denny's vast knowledge of technology, hardware and software is only paralleled by his unprecedented ability to communicate complex issues in a manner that is easily understood and acted upon. Denny has a unique blend of strategic and creative abilities and always delivers projects on time and on budget. I would most definitely recommend him for any Internet or IT based project.

Matt Szubrycht - DevSecOps Architect at Acquia Inc.
Dennis is an accomplished and recognized technologist, as his profile shows. What his profile does not make very clear, is the fact that he takes empathy for customers and people he works with to an unprecedented level. Dennis is universally and immensely respected and liked among the people he works with not only for his technical prowess, but also for the positive and compassionate energy he invariably brings to the workplace. He taught me to perceive customer technical issues we are hired to resolve as pain points directly affecting everyone involved in negative ways. From that perspective, while delivering solutions, we are also delivering a higher level of personal happiness and peace to everyone involved.

Christian Ochsner - Software Developer and Systems Engineer
I have worked with Dennis on many projects. His wide range of knowledge and his keen perception to detect new and complex relationships is great. Dennis is also an Excellent boss and his social skills and integrity are exemplary.
Any time I would love to work with or for him again!
The project wouldn't have been successful without Dennis - he was key to making it happen. I'd recommend him to anyone, and would happily work with him again.
