• Manages a team of (20) associates
• Operate packaging production line according to Safety and Quality Assurance rules, regulations and procedures
• Confirm and/or set appropriate machine specifications found on computer spec log to ensure shift production line has appropriate equipment, configuration and materials (i.e. x-ray machines, adequate conveyor adjustments, correct packaging film) at start of shift
• Accurately set up scales, checkweigher and metal detector at the start of the shift and monitor the operation of each throughout the shift
• Ensure daily production runs according to sequence stated in batch cards
• Produce labels and/or place cards for runs using laptop and standard office software
• Ensure packaging materials and blended product lot numbers are recorded on batch card
• Confirm packaging machine is filled with appropriate, finished, blends
• In accordance to set specifications, ensure correct packaging material is used for each product. Replenish materials as needed.
• Perform quality control by ensuring all product is sent through metal detector, performing weight checks and performing packaging integrity and labeling checks
• Ensure appropriate pattern and count is followed by all Packer Associates who palletize product
• Ensure allergen control procedures are followed properly
• Perform machine wash between production charge-over, validating proper cleanliness is achieved by following change-over procedure
• Participate in job rotation on assigned line in order to support Packer Associates as necessary
• Transport packaging materials and supplies to production line as necessary
• Any/all other duties as assigned
Manager/Butcher
• Act as Manager on Duty and supervise a team of 3-4 shift associates to ensure store operations run smoothly
• Balance all cashier tills at the end of respective shifts
• Place weekly orders for grocery, frozen and deli items for the entire store
• Accurately cut various steaks, poultry, pork and fish pieces and produce meat grinds for purchase
• Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen area in compliance with city and state regulations
• Manage/run all deli operations to include operation of slicers, preparation of packaged lunch and entrée meals and custom order fulfillment, all in compliance with city and state regulations
• Obtain and maintain an up-to-date Health and Sanitation Food Handlers license
• Perform managerial closing duties to include reconciliation of all daily till and lottery transactions
• Ensure store is kept in a clean, safe and sanitary state at all times
• Provide excellent customer service to any/all guests
Office Manager
• Manage a team of (5) or more associates to maintain order, accuracy and client satisfaction throughout the entire funeral process
• Perform basic office duties to include answering phones, filing paperwork, making spreadsheets, scanning documets and greeting potential clients
• Manage payroll and scheduling
