Derek Childers

I worked at a Walmart in Evanston Wyoming for two years before moving to this Walmart in Gillette. I tend to ask questions when I don't know what I need to do or if I don't know how to do a specific task, but once I get it down I am a hard worker and get the job done the way I was taught how to do it. I don't have any truck driving experience but I plan on learning and getting the experience to get my Class-A CDL.

I grew up being a ranch hand, helping my Grandpa heard cattle, irrigate, cut, rake, and bale hay, and also help him fix equipment on tractors. I was raised to be a hard worker, ask questions, and keep going until the job is done. Both my Father and my Grandpa taught me how to rebuild and fix vehicles and equipment, which is why I moved to Gillette Wyoming to go to school to become a Diesel Technician.
