I answered to the company man at the drill rigs and either assigned man to complete jobs, or I completed he following:
-haul fresh water to rigs
-haul drill cuttings and drill mud to disposal wells
-haul flow back water to disposal
-drove end dump trucks, vacuum trucks, and hauled supplies to and from drill location with semi and flatbed trailer
-operated extend-a-boom forklifts, did roustabout work, maintained and repaired dump trucks, vac trucks, and other equipment used for different jobs in the oilfield
I was the face man, so I stocked the bolter, hung air tubes, cleaned up the face with the loader after it was bolted. I also got certified to run the continuous miner, and ran other heavy duty loaders to move longwall equipment, and inspected belts and water pumps. I operated the rock miner and cut a shaft through the rock with the continuous rock miner. I operated the coal buggies to take coal from the face to the belt, and worked on the dust control crew. I worked on the crew to cut a ventilation shaft from 1200 feet below ground to the surface. I transported equipment and supplies from surface to underground.
