In my 2nd year as an electrical apprentice, I advanced into more technical responsibilities across residential and commercial job sites. I worked on new construction, remodels, and tenant improvements, handling similar tasks such as installing and wiring outlets, lighting systems, breakers, and service panels. I became proficient in running conduit, pulling and terminating circuits, and ensuring electrical systems were installed safely and up to code. I developed stronger troubleshooting skills, identifying and repairing faults in wiring and equipment, and took part in system testing to confirm proper function before project completion. My role also involved preparing work areas, organizing materials, and ensuring projects stayed on schedule, while maintaining strict safety standards. As my skills progressed, I was trusted to perform tasks with greater independence, take on more responsibility in daily operations, and provide guidance to newer apprentices in learning foundational skills.

As an electrical apprentice, I gained extensive hands-on experience in both residential and light commercial environments, assisting journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. My work included pulling, measuring, and securing wire, installing outlets, switches, panels, breakers, and lighting fixtures, and supporting complete home and building rewires. I regularly assisted with panel upgrades, circuit installations, grounding, and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical issues, applying technical knowledge to identify problems, and implement effective solutions. I maintained tools, materials, and equipment in proper condition to ensure job sites remained safe and organized, while consistently following OSHA and NEC safety standards. In addition, I was involved in service calls where I helped restore power, resolve electrical failures, and perform preventative maintenance to keep systems operating reliably. By working alongside experienced electricians in varied settings, I developed strong adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in both fast-paced projects and precision-driven tasks.

My job consisted of processing and fulfilling customer orders with precise accuracy and efficiency. I operated forklifts to transport and organize inventory, ensured proper stocking of products, and maintained clean and safe work areas. Regularly interacted with customers to assist with order pickups, and resolve inquiries in a professional manner. They also had me work in handling shipments and receiving them, verifying order details, and collaborating with team members to meet productivity goals.
