• Stacked finished boxes with live chicks on pallets according to delivery requests.
• Operated equipment, including a moffett, electric pallet jack, tow motor, separator and a company vehicle.
• I was also responsible for operating the moffett to transport pallets of live chicks from the truck to the chicken houses then releasing them, along with operating an electric pallet jack to transport items from storage to the production area. I used a tow motor to transport buggies of live chicks to the separator machine which separates the chicks from crates to the beginning of the processing line. I operated a company vehicle when necessary to assist co-workers with other deliveries. Any farm that didn't get their complete order, I would deliver the following day.
• Mixed vaccines, using the correct vials and measuring the correct amount of water, dye, vaccine ratio to be sprayed over live chicks during production process.
• At the beginning of the day, I would remove the formaldehyde trays from hatcher machines before transporting buggies to the separator. I was also fitted for a respirator to handle formaldehyde.
• Assisted in dumping waste into the waste trucks. Cleaned company vehicles and truck bays.
• Foam and sanitize the processing line after production.
