Summary
I have been with Nucor since 2008. I started at Nucor Building Systems working many positions their, Material handler/Parts Loader, Structure Painter, Fork Lift Operator, and Structure Welder.
I transferred and began at Nucor Steel Plymouth in 12/09/2013 as a Chem Lab Technician for 7-8 months, Melt Shop Rover for roughly a year, Billet Tagger for roughly a year, Torch man for roughly 2 years, to my current position as a Strand Tender.
Over this past few years (while current Casting Tech was out) I was able to serve as my teams Interim Casting Tech.
Through all these positions I have been able to learn an grow in all aspects of the steel industry, safety, team work, and production it has been awesome to be a part of learning and growing with all team mates and leaders.
