  • Assist the Journeyman in the various aspects of line maintenance, repair and construction; including gain poles, frame crossarms, assemble guys and splice wire, loading and unloading material.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and materials in linemen truck, such as conduit benders, wire strippers, and power tools.
  • Provided lineman with necessary protective equipment needed for work being done ie. (hot sticks, rubber goods, blankets, gloves, etc).
  • Operates truck and power equipment used in overhead and underground line construction. Responsible for driving vehicles equipped with tools and materials to job sites. Operated vehicles up to the 12,000 lb. unladen weight class.
