Director for GIS Mapping for Bow School District

Bow High School
08.2011 - Current
  • I am currently the supervisor for the Bow School District the geographic information system (GIS). Geographic information systems is a system that creates, manages, analyzes, and maps all types of data. GIS connects data to a map, integrating location data (where things are) with all types of descriptive information (what things are like there). This provides a foundation for mapping and analysis that is used in science and almost every industry. GIS helps users understand patterns, relationships, and geographic context. The benefits include improved communication and efficiency as well as better management and decision making.
  • Developed and implemented strategic educational programs enhancing student engagement and academic performance.
  • Led faculty training workshops to improve instructional techniques and collaborative teaching methods.
  • Established mentorship programs promoting professional development among educators, enhancing staff retention rates.
  • Analyzed student performance data to identify trends, informing curriculum adjustments and intervention strategies.

Supervisor for Purple Star Grant

New Hampshire National Guard, the Governor’s Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs, Joint Military Task Force and the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services
10.2020 - Current
  • New Hampshire National Guard, the Governor’s Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs, the Joint Military Task Force, and the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services assist Purple Star Schools throughout the state.
  • Purple Star Schools offer student-led programs that create social connections for military children and provide professional development to help educators support military children’s entry into new academic environments.
  • Many military families are experiencing frequent deployments or training exercises that can disrupt traditional childhood experiences and their educational progress as they adjust to a new school.
  • As the grant Supervisor in the school district, I reach out to families to make them aware of resources available to aid students with these stressors; this tends to go a long way in connecting them to their school communities and creating a solid foundation for their academic studies and overall wellness.

Coordinator NH Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program

New Army National Guard
09.2005 - Current
  • I am currently the civilian coordinator for a state partnership between New Hampshire, El Salvador, and Cabo Verde under the National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program. Bow High. I was chosen to participate in a cutting-edge program that the State of New Hampshire supports the Army National Guard. The program was created to establish a military partnership with these countries; however, the program was expanded to include a school partnership which I have been in charge of since the program began in 2007. The goal is to create an exchange of students and teachers and a culture so the students can learn more about each other’s lives. Programs have included book and clothing drives for our exchange schools in both countries, I have visited the countries several times, and on my last mission, I was able to brief the US Ambassador in El Slavod on the progress of our exchange program with Bow High and two sister schools.
