Foam Coach is a company & brand created with the intent to bridge the gap between SPF industry leading professionals and the average SPF contractor/installer. Providing on-site field training for chemical processing, equipment service/maintenance and troubleshooting, crew managment and day to day operations as well as providing educational material to develop a fundamental understanding of building science, energy code and SPF chemistry basics.

As of now I am still in the process of developing the brand along with a catalogue of online training materials, classes and resources as well as a series of apps currently in various stages of development with intention to release later this year.

SPF Application Consulting LLC was created to serve as a consulting agency and educational resource for general contractors, insulation contractors, architechs and end users as well as a liason to bridge communication inefficiencies between these individuals as well as engineers, building inspectors and HERS raters. SPFAC also operates in the capacity itself to perform applications.

• Provided technical support to customers via phone, email and in person.
• Designed and implemented regional training programs for customers of IDI covering topics including building science, energy code, chemical processing, safety protocols, equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Selected as a top performing technician to help create standardized national field training protocols for IDI’s technical team.
• Kept detailed records of field measurements and data.
• Performed work in fast paced environments while maintaining the ability to think critically and effectively troubleshoot issues with chemical processing and mechanical systems.

• Helped to create, manage and develop the spray foam division of the company.
• Responsibilities included training new employees how to process SPF chemicals, correctly install materials according to application guidelines and job specifications, maintain equipment and instill an understanding of building science and energy code.
• Communicated with general contractors, architects and engineers to understand job scope, provide information and work cohesively to exceed performance expectations.
