I’ve been singing since I was five years old. My mother always encouraged me to play instruments when I was younger and quickly found out that I have perfect pitch, and a highly sensitive ear when it comes to music. Besides the theory of it, I have such a personal and passionate connection with music and I share my gift to people in a world where we aren’t given a choice to speak often when it truly matters. Music can heal the hearts of many, and performing in front of hundreds of people I’ve never met, and being able to change their hearts is something so sensitive and crucial in life.
I performed in the Jolliff Middle School choir and Western Branch High School Choir, as well as the Diehn Chorale and ODU Choir, where I studied under Professor Agnes Fuller-Wynne. She just recently retired and then passed away this January of 2024, and I absolutely have been restored and reminded of my true passion and calling for music, all because of her.
In august of 2022, I auditioned for the VSOC professional core position and ever since then I’ve been over the moon with the experience of making music with Bob and his choir. It’s not everyday you get to be around multiple people who all share a similar love and care for the music world.
