Started with company at Plant Hatch in 2008 as Valve technician working primarily A and M Y Globe MSIVs and non return check valve and steam stop valve. Advanced to foreman then eventually to Supervisor in 2004 until 2018. During my employment I worked all8 unit 3 MSIVs installing the nose guided/ back seated poppet at Browns Ferry and Sequoyah. Supervised the modification of Plant Hatch Unit 2 Rockwell Edwards Valves with internal parts designed by Weir to take advantage of Weirs nose guided poppet and back seat stabilizing ability to increase valve effiecieny which has improved their reliability and LLRT numbers during refuel.
During the EPU upgrade on this unit I worked as Foreman on a Project installing a second spent fuel heat exchanger over the existing exchanger and piping.
