- Supervised/Optimized the daily operations of over 100 Horizontal Wells and 600+ Vertical Wells in the Midland Basin, producing a combined total of 26,000+ BOPD and 120,000+ MCFPD by utilizing Cygnet SCADA, XSPOC, and Inspatial.
- Collaborated with multiple vendors to conceptualize and optimize artificial lift systems for both current and forthcoming Horizontal wells.
- Developed numerous AFEs & downhole workover applications for a wide range of failures ( conventional & unconventional wells) and applied optimal capacity to stay within budget for projects.
- Enhanced ESP production through acid treatments, increasing productivity per well while providing quick payout (Less than 3 month Payout).
- Directed monthly Horizontal Review sessions within my area alongside a dedicated team to assess post-artificial lift conversion data, determining the success and efficacy of all Horizontal workovers.
- Reduced LOE expenditures by proactively identifying underperforming Horizontal wells, converting them to more suitable lift systems, and optimizing compression injection and chemical usage for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Identified & analyzed LOE on different vertical facilities within our Glasscock/Reagan county unit finding new opportunities in existing SWDs & negotiating deals with other operator owned SWDs. Those improvements prevented the need to drill a new $1.9 million SWD.
- Established a robust collaboration with the Land/Reservoir Team, actively identifying and analyzing extensive acreage to assess potential drilling opportunities and divestment strategies in future trades.
- Successfully identified cash flow-negative wells, presented findings to VPs and CEO, and spearheaded their divestiture, resulting in operational expense savings of approximately $79,000/month through the divestment of 25 wells.
- Collaborated on the 2023 Gas Lift Bid, leveraging joint expertise to select the optimal candidate based on service quality and cost-effectiveness resulting in about 8% cost savings from the 2022 bid.
- Mentored junior engineers and interns to foster their professional development, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
- Spearheaded the Horizontal Curtailment Program in response to COVID-19 in 2020, strategically monitoring Horizontal wells to identify those that could be shut down due to economic pricing, resulting in millions in cost savings upon market price rebound.
