  • Company Overview: Cart.com is a warehouse that services multiple clients
  • As the inbound supervisor I have worked with over 25 different clients with the main focus to get their product in the system in a timely manner according to the client's SLA contracts
  • I oversee 3 departments (receiving, returns and inventory) roughly 30-40 employees that fall under my supervision
  • I quickly climbed up the ladder, starting from a forklift operator, to inbound receiving clerk, to inbound receiving supervisor
  • I've worked directly with other supervisors/managers, general managers, directors, CEOs and CFO's
  • I've traveled with the company to other facilities such as Memphis FC, New Jersey FC, Longview FC, Terrell FC to help out where I was needed
  • Whether it was getting new management trained in our software or looking for ways to increase productivity and revenue
  • My task included: scheduling inbound shipments with various carriers via email, manage workload of employees, manage expectations of performance such as UPH, inactive time, # of breaks and error/accuracy rates, LTR reporting, kitting projects, manage inbound SLA and dock to stock time, implement and restructure processes as needed, keep everyone tasked to their designated assignments, coaching and development, keep track of all delivery information/documents, keep the flow of the receiving team while still performing different task/assignments given to me from superiors, provide daily SOS / EOS reports, the point of contact for the facility in all FL maintenance, facility maintenance such as HVAC and Plumbing
  • I perform all forklift evaluations and testing for our new hires
  • I am also the Safety Ambassador for our facility
  • One of my highlights of this job is when I took initiative and investigated into client's shipping inconsistencies, located the problem and provided solution
  • The results provided Cart.com with 25% increase in inbound capacity- resulting in a increase in revenue
  • This allowed me to decrease labor hours needed and streamline the flow of the receiving dock
