Because we have been short handed with Supervisors, I have been filling in as the D Shift Supervisor for the past six months. With the title of a Lead Man, I have been expected to perform as a Supervisor, performing duties, answer questions, motivate employees, and multitask whenever we are short handed with staffing. I have accomplished new procedures, and paperwork, met deadlines, and whatever else I have been asked to do. There is always room for improvement, but there is no doubt in my mind that I should be promoted to the Supervisor position, it is what I have been doing for the past six months already.
