I work directly with our clients to help them apply for Benefits such as SNAP EBT, Medi-cal, and Cash aid. On a daily basis we provide updated resources for our county's homeless population such as shelter, food, counseling. We App reg customers into our internal system when applying for benefits which is CAL SAWS. As needed we create new accounts and attach the CIN numbers to the existing profiles in state systems. We use MEDS to validate and verify Benefits given and in which states and at what dates, as to follow our states law regarding fraud and misuse of benefits. During COVID our office remained open, we were Essential employees and worked in very flexible situations day by day.
