Foster Tuesdays with Miss Senior is a community service initiative dedicated to bringing joy, companionship, and support to children in foster care. Every Tuesday, volunteers visit a foster home to spend quality time with the children in activities that promote emotional well-being, social development, and a sense of belonging. During these visits, volunteers may participate in activities such as reading stories, helping with homework, playing games, doing arts and crafts, or simply offering a listening ear. The goal is to provide the children with positive role models and meaningful interactions that help build their confidence and resilience.

Lunch Buddies with Miss NCATSU is a community service initiative focused on mentorship, engagement, and positive social interaction with students at Bessemer Elementary School. As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to spend time with students across all grade levels during their lunch periods, fostering meaningful connections and providing encouragement. During these visits, I engaged with students by sharing conversations, offering support, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where they felt heard and valued. Whether discussing school, personal interests, or future goals, Lunch Buddies aims to build trust and promote a sense of belonging among the students.
