ACC Area E Operating Room (Lead CNA):

• Provide direct perioperative support to RNs and Surgeons, including patient transfers, positioning, room readiness, and room cleanliness.
• Perform thorough operating room turnovers to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.
• Assist surgical technologists with sterile opening and scrubbing in during procedures when additional support is required.
• Serve as Lead CNA, overseeing and prioritizing assignments for CNA staff to optimize OR workflow and efficiency.
• Create next-day surgical equipment lists and coordinate setup, transport, and organization of equipment for assigned operating rooms.

D50 Internal Medicine Medical Surgical CNA:

• Provided compassionate care for 4-8 patients per 12-hour shift on the unit, ensuring comfort and safety while assisting with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Performed routine clinical tasks, including obtaining lab specimens (UA and stool samples), changing briefs, removing Foley catheters and IVs, contributing to efficient patient care and workflow.
• Monitored and documented vital signs regularly, maintaining accurate records to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Assisted 4-6 LTAC and critical patients with ADLs and safe ambulation.
• Repositioned patients every two hours to prevent skin breakdown, maintaining skin integrity and comfort.
• Monitored and documented vital signs every six hours, accurately charting patient wellbeing throughout the shift.
• Provided care for patients with complex needs, including wounds, ventilators, feeding tubes, chest tubes, Foley catheters, ileostomy and colostomy bags.
