Scrubbed in on orthopedic, oncologic, neurologic, general, and urologic surgeries.

Increased my comfortability seeing pediatric patients, especially in an ER setting.

Inpatient medicine in a rehab facility where I also collaborated with speech pathologists, physical therapists and social workers.

• Prepared patient for surgery/procedures (vitals, chair positioning, draping, documentation) and assisted Physician or PA in Mohs surgeries, Biopsies, I&D's, Dermabrasion, Excisions.
• Documented key details from Patient's visit and organized chart information.
• Communicated and collaborated with Nursing staff, Medical Assistants, Physicians, Physician Assistants and Histologists.
• Practiced great bedside manner for duration of un-sedated surgeries.

• Worked with different providers each day, gained exposure to many PAs and learned their role well as medical professionals.
• Maintained quick pace and practiced efficient time management in a fast paced, busy Urgent Care in New York City.
• Documented notes during patient visit on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) which helped me to learn proper documentation as a provider.
• Assisted the Physician with in- office medical procedures, treatment plans and follow-ups.
