Scrub- Intervention/OR- I do Venograms w/Angioplasty and Stents, Thrombectomy, Grafts Fistula Creation, BVT, place HD Catheters, PD Catheters, get OR ready for surgery, turn over rooms, move patients over to beds, wheel them out to post-op, request labs from dialyses centers in the Tri-State area for the following day for surgery, order supplies for two Operating Rooms- balloons, stents, wires, stock, clean/wash instruments and sterilize in auto clave
Call patients after seven days after their procedure
Make appointments/reschedule in Athena Net
ACC- I travel to the dialysis clinics in Tri-State area: Bullhead, Kingman, Lake Havasu and Parker provide education to the new patients/new starts
I visit patients at FMC Dialysis units, to remove sutures, get the okay to use new access from the surgeon
I run reports, travel to PHX for staff meetings, run ultrasound clinic in the BHC office/order supplies for clinic
Make sure the schedules are full for clinics
Cath calls once a month
Communicate directly with the surgeons
Start Ultrasounds/check flows on AVF’s, the doctor will come in and finish it
I’m the liaison for our company
