Project Name — Ronald McNair Summer Research Program, Summer2023, Talladega College, Talladega Alabama, Research Title: The Infrastructure of Bridges and Different Materials in Storm Surges, Advisor: Mr. Carlise Tucker, During my summer Research, I built a cantilever bridge out of a material that’s never been used before in matlab simulink which is known as brass. The material was tested in various different types of weather and storm surges. The basic materials that are normally used to build a bridge did not hold up in storm surges better than the brass. One day I want to actually build my own bridge out of brass and name the infrastructure after me., Used Matlab for the programming, coding, and the dynamics of the bridge., Tested out the bridge in simulink against Storm Surges with different materials.
