Involvement On Campus

I joined Jumpstart on campus which helps children with social emotional skills. I have a team of five including me and we go to a low-income preschool twice a week where we do activities with the children that helps them improve communication skills, self-awareness, hand motor skills, etc. We also volunteer on and off campus in events anywhere from helping to make and package food boxes for families to handing out free hot chocolate on a cold day. I have also been trained along with my team members as a mandated reporting meaning I know what signs to watch out for pertaining to any type of abuse.
